another fever?!
not the fever where your body burns up. nope, it's the fandom fever again. i seem to be into a lot these days, and i have observed that it usually doesn't last (snsd? although i still love tiff, sooyoung and yuri). this time it's kanjani8.
yeah i have been getting more into them lately. still blaming ryo and tacchon for this -_- i have finally stopped resisting and downloaded more of their songs (my poor ipod!) and watched a bunch of videos on them. i'm surprised that they actually have good songs (after getting past the fact that they're just plain hilarious. they must be the most wacked group in JE). i like it almost as much as NewS' ones, but not quite. NewS will always be my number one japanese fandom :D but now k8 and kat-tun take up the second spot. well, its nice to be open to everything and not restrict yourself. they're all johnnys anyways.
as planned, i did go to school last friday for pre-board practicals. as expected i was a little unprepared, forgetting some stuff. good thing i still have friends i can borrow from. and i totally didn't study for the radiology practical exams, some terms almost completely erased from my memory. good thing it was more on diagnosis and identifying anatomic structures so it wasn't as bad as i imagined. it could've been worse.
after a whole day of working on the dental chair, my neck muscles were sore both from my positioning and the tension of having to work within a limited time. at the end of the day, i was more than relieved having finished everything. but i wasn't quite happy with my work. it could've been better. well, i can make it up on the next practical.
headed to ayala with joy (a former classmate who was now working in school as one of the faculty in dentistry). also ate before heading home. it was surprising that she was feeling generous and offered to pay for both the fare and the food! it was a bit of a weird feeling for me coz i'm not used to being paid for by someone not really close to me. we're friends but you know what i mean, although we really had time to bond a few years ago when we went to baguio for a convention. it was a nice feeling. having that time to spend with her. i always have this feeling of being small whenever i'm around her bcoz she's achieved so much--from being a top-notcher in the board exams, and being a beauty. she was popular in school, but still down-to-earth and friendly. she has such a positive influence to ppl around her, makes you wanna improve. it's nice having people like her as a friend :)
tacchon's solos are looove. i love his voice, it's a differently kind of manly. at first i was surprised that he sounded that way, then i was happy that he didn't sound like an adolescent kid with the extra-squeaky voice bordering to irritating (like some ppl i know LOL) but it's manly!!! not like shige's manly quality of voice, but it still makes me swoon. i just noticed that his voice in live perfs sound much better than the studio versions :D and he's tall!!! i love how lanky he is, but not thin. and his smile!!! its a cross between shy and amused. and most of all, he's a buta too!!! he loves food! his expressions are so ROFL~ all the other k8 members love to torment him with food, poor thing :P
and omg!!! one more to add to my growing list of ryo-pairings: RyoDa!!! seriously, what is happening to me?! i think ryo has corrupted my mind more than i wanna admit *flails*
taiyou no namida pv (kurosagi movie version)!!! it's nice. it showed some scenes from the movie, and it makes me more excited for the movie's release this march. yamaki!!! ok i'm totally gonna pray that they'd end up together! i wonder if there'll be a NEWS version pv *crosses fingers*
just saw the charice on ellen degeneres clip last night. just wow.
our family has lately been crazy over sola teas. soon enough, there were empty bottles stacked up in a corner, haha. and we have a new bench. it still needs paint and varnish imo. i just dunno if our cat sees it the same way we do, and not treat it as a brand new, bigger and prettier scratching post XD
i really just had a horrible dream today. it was about a boxer who massacres his neighbors downstairs in order to keep them from nosing around and spread talk about the boxing match (w/c was supposed to be live) that was actually fake. what made it worse was that he even killed a helpless 1-yr old kid. when i woke up from it, i was feeling sick -_-

drastic change
yesssssss. finally. finally, the salon plans pushed through!
ditched my long curly hair for a short straight 'do. it's funny coz people kept commenting on how it was such a waste to cut off hair THAT long, and kept asking if i was really sure. so anyways, i was shampooed and seated. then thehairdresser tied my hair in a ponytail before cutting just above that. and he handed the the part that was cut-off!!! LOL he thought maybe i wanted to keep it as a souvenir but i told him to chuck it. i don't need a reminder. it might just make me regret everything afterwards when i mull it over -_-
the hair straightening process followed. goodness, i didn't know that it would take 4 HOURS! the combined smell of the chemical and my current hungry state was starting to make me feel queasy. and i was told not to wash my hair for 3 days, pssshhhh~
anyways *shrieks* my hair's so short now. it looks like this, more or less
and no, i didn't dye my hair. yet.
i still can't believe i really got rid of my long curly hair. still hasn't sunk in fully. still getting the hang of it. but i think i'll love it in no time. i've always wanted straight hair, and my current 'do is so wash-and-wear convenient. just what i was aiming for. and my dad can finally stop telling me to get a haircut bcoz i went and did it. and him saying it looked better than the old one was good enough for me.
gah, i really have to go to bed now. i have practicals tomorrow, early. i wonder if i should get up at 5am later. i wonder if i could. and the idiot me forgot to buy food. joycie said you can't leave the room while exams are going on. and i won't have a chance to buy since i'm sure most shops are still closed at that time. aish~

sweeney todd, taiyou no namida, and more ryo pairings -_-
it stopped raining so much after those days when i was complaining about it, plus i was getting cold during the nights, so it was sort of a dampener that when i already had in mind what i was going to wear for monday, it couldn't bcoz the weather had turned hot. wet but hot. so i had to wear something more appropriate but plain. i was running late for the meeting with marga and jina, and then i stepped on a loose smooth stone and muddy water splattered on my jeans! perfect, just perfect! so i went back to the house and tried cleaning it with a wet rag, and walked off with damp spots where the mud once was. i was too lazy and hassled, not to mention late enough to change into a new pair of jeans.
and i finally met jina. with anna and indira in tow. i didn't expect to have more company but it was absolutely fine. more fangirls, more fun! we strolled aimlessly while waiting for marga who was stuck in traffic. and since i haven't eaten anything, we went to the foodcourt. had pork teriyaki and takoyaki. and they began fussing about how long it took me to finish eating. hey, that was the fastest i could go! haha. the combini and videoke didn't happen. basically we just kept strolling and chatting until the three girls had to go, but not before we took pictures near the fountain outside sm's northwing. it turned into a little riot since the first few tries, we couldn't all fit in the screen. it took a few moments before we got the hang of it :P
marga and i were left to further talk, mainly about eito, hehe. yep, i finally fell for their weird charms, blame tacchon! and maru, a little bit. and ryo *accck* ooooosaka rainy blues~~~
i was under the impression that leona's sold pretty expensive cakes. now i realized that i just bought the most expensive one a few years back when our car broke down and it was the nearest shop we entered, waiting while the car is getting fixed, or towed. eating a choco-tacchon (mint=green) cake kinda made me happy. it was the first time i ever ate mint on cake and i found out that i like it, hehe. unfortunately, marga had to go so we both headed to ayala and in separate ways--her going back home, me headed to the cinema to watch 'sweeney todd' all by myself.
I LOVE IT!!! tim burton and johnny depp are the best! it was worth every cent. i love the cast--helena bonham carter (as mrs. lovett), alan rickman (as judge turpin), jamie campbell bower (as anthony), etc etc. i didn't expect it to be that dark though. when he killed his first victim, i was a bit surprised and i imagine my face was comical, haha. and everytime he slits a throat, i would almost wince or cover my eyes and mouth. it was BLOODY brilliant, literally. and the ending was a bit disturbing. nowadays, 'johanna' just keeps repeating in my head.
the next day i woke up really late. later when i had the brain to calculate, i couldn't believe i let myself doze off for 11 hours. it was already dark when i got up. i didn't even saw day and i feel like crap. i waited for my 'rents to come back so me and my stepmom could go to salon, but i already had a feeling it wasn't going to happen, yet. and i was right. they haven't been home until now. i've had enough time to say goodbye to my long hair. i just wanna get it over and done with. tomorrow it is. i hope there won't be any more delay. the longer it takes, the more uncertain i get w/c is not a good thing.
and i have been more addicted to recording my voice. i have got to stop XP
i know it's a bit late but i'm only starting to get addicted to 'taiyou no namida.' tesshi's voice is amazing as always. and shige's parts are short *frowns* AND kei and massu's parts are next to each other so i have moments where i'm confused as to who is singing. argh, those two should be kept apart, they have such similar voices -_-
i decided to post a message at the kurosagi movie site. overwhelmed that there were a lot of messages w/c are mostly from foreign countries. well, that was what we were aiming for, right? i hope it opens johnny's eyes and make him think that he should maybe, just maybe care a little for all those other fans in other parts of the world. well, i was happy enough to see my message posted among all the others. sugoi~
and as if my situation with ryo isn't bad enough as it is, i found myself reading ryopi fics these past few days. i even stumbled on one ryokura. and some ryoshige as well. *flails* i seem to really love pairings with ryo in it. this is so not good! i need tesshi to give me a good shake to snap me out of this insane ryo-fixation -_- *imagines tesshi calling her koneko-chan* my ero oji~~~

rain rain go away~
and it rained again. it's been raining quite a lot lately. grrrr, i hate rain. so many days i've put off going out bcoz of it...and it just got heavier! i hope the connection won't be lost due to this -_-
hmmm, things are better. the 'rents are in an unexpectedly good mood so i was still able to go online every once in a while. in fact, they're gone for the mall again (but i expect they're on their way back now at this time, so i gotta hurry up and post this, i might not be able to do so when they arrive *flails*)
we had palad for dinner 2 nights ago (unlike today, i'm eating alone again, hehe). i missed that kind of fish my lola used to cook back in bacolod. my dad saw it when they were at the supermarket and decided i might like having it, since we haven't had one for years. awww, what a sweet dad~
yesterday my dad made me proofread for the quarterly newsletter they do for the orphanage. it made me tear up, at least that part when i was reading about the story of the siblings who used to scavenge the streets for things they deem still usable out of the piles of garbage. it was depressing, tugged at my heartstrings. it also reminded me again how remarkable my dad's heart is. i am proud of what he does. even though it doesn't provide enough for our family, he is making a difference in the lives of 24 children. it makes me think how fortunate i am that i have parents that didn't abandon me. that i am still faring way better than those kids at the orphanage who didn't experience even a fraction of what i have.
gah, i'm really really getting tired of my long hair. i swear i'm gonna have it cut so short the first chance i get. well, my stepmom said we'd go to the salon on monday so i'm relishing the last moments i have with my hair (but really i'm so geared up to part with it!). maybe it's bcoz i've been seeing a lot of tiffany lately, and she looks cute with her short hair (better than when she had long hair), that eventually i'm starting to dislike my current 'do.
saw a bunch of kusano's shop photos! yay~ i've been waiting for someone to up them, and my, did he grow hotter since he got suspended :P
i have been addicted to snsd's song 'baby baby' for days now. i love the message it conveys. i guess it really just kinda speaks about the usual feelings of a girl who likes someone, the dilemma and stress we undergo, etc etc. now i understand why it's yuri's fave out of all the tracks in their album. i guess ever since i read that piece of info, it kinda hung over my head (in a good way) since yuri's one of my faves in snsd. so one day, i was listening to it over and over again while doing stuff online, then my stepmom went over and commented how she liked the rythm of the song! haha~ it's so rare for ppl here at home to appreciate whatever i'm listening to, so it made me happy that she found the song nice :D
oh, lately i've been so amazed with photoshop's blur tool! haha~ i learned something from working at dentex :P
aaaah, i have this really huge pile (think mountain) of freshly laundered clothes to fold and iron -_- i remembered ryo saying he wanted a girlfriend/he likes a girl who knows how to wash clothes with her hands (wtf--why am i talking about ryo again?!)
lately i have been going out (eating, hehe) more with my friends. it's so nice to be hanging out with ppl with the same career as me--listening to their day at work, and comparing techniques, and funny stories. i'm thinking that if i keep seeing them, i don't mind being single forever...yes, i don't mind at all! since we're all nbsb's, they're even making plans for a valentine's date already!!! haha. too bad i probably won't be able to celebrate with them :( but anyways, it's funny how we're still single until now, and we're coincidentally all sagittarians as well. i guess we're just too...proud? and idealistic i guess. we're too special (or think highly of ourselves? XD) to ever settle for anything less, w/c i think is not bad. we just won't say ok if we don't feel like it, we are too happy with our current states to even care so much :P
i watched episodes 1 and 2 of star king's explore the human body (with superjunior) and i'm loving it! i just found out that this was the exact show where charice sang, and started getting attention the world over. it was funny and entertaining so far (a great break for suju since i was missing them since suju show). i still couldn't get over siwon's reaction (eyes growing as wide as saucers) to the switching doctors (w/c the others were so oblivious to) LOLOL and the sand-painting was really cool!
kyaaaaa~ sweeney todd is out in theatres!!! i am so watching as soon as i go to the mall. and i heard it is has received several nominations. yes, johnny depp just doesn't disappoint. i am so proud to be his fan for ten years now :D
waaaaah~ someone just said that suju is coming here in the philippines this feb!!! omo omo omo! someone should confirm this! if this turns out to be true, i'd definitely go no matter what! i expect to be in manila by that time, so i'm excited! i do hope this is true *prays* gosh, the thought of seeing them in the flesh *faints* hubbyhaeeeeeeee~

lost?
woke up really late yesterday (3:40pm), willed myself to get up bcoz i had reviews at 6pm at school. even though i know i was running late still i couldn't quicken my pace as i go about doing stuff in the house. i just had to eat, so i cooked and ate (slowly, hehe). then i had to feed the cat and iron my clothes...talk about last minutes. i'm the queen of cram...w/c always leads to disaster :P
so i was on my way, almost squirming on my seat bcoz i know i'll never be able to arrive on time, and will be an hour late at the least *accck* and as if things weren't bad enough, i conveniently took the wrong van!!! LOL don't blame me, the van i was supposed to take was usually on that spot so i never thought it was possible that it was for another destination *headdesk*
so instead of heading to the former-reclamation area, i ended up in opon. did i ever tell you i don't travel around? basically i still dunno the places and how to get to wherever. i aimlessly strolled for like 5 minutes before i told myself to bite the bullet and just take the first jeep i see. luckily i'm not as idiotic as i thought i was and safely landed in mandaue in one piece. i even get lost in a place i've lived in in 7 years, what more if i'm in a foreign country? i'd be helpless, and maybe end up crying at one point, haha.
good thing the review was moved this saturday, so i was relieved of the feeling of guilt for being late (and ending up someplace else). but when it dawned on me that i went to all the trouble for nothing, it was not a good feeling at all. consoled myself with food. yes! food always does the trick :P
i'm still on snsd mode. hae and tiff moments weee~ but i still think hyeseong and tiff look cuter :D and bcoz of that i'm gonna make caps...oh noes, i'm sensing another mode coming~
oh and i heard ryo's gonna have a new dorama 'tsurumoku bachelor apartment' with kitagawa keiko. hmmm, i'll wait for more news on this. wanted to start watching gambatte ikimasshou (even though i'm starting to not like suzuki ann...jealous me?). somehow i wanted to start calling him 'boo' ever since that :D it's kinda odd that i'm noticing uchi more than ryo at the start. too bad, he got suspended and junno replaced him (not that i don't like junno!)
my 'rents are finally going home today, after more than a week at the orphanage. yay!.....NOT! that means less OL time for me again, driven to take refuge in my room and count lizards on the ceiling -_- well, i guess it'd be good. i'd have more time to think about my fics, but i doubt it'd be as fun as being online...
haha~ i wasn't paying too much attention with what i was cooking that i ended up with charred instead of fried fish XD
and johnny depp's 'sweeney todd' is on display at the cinema and also being promoted on tv!!! it's only a matter of days before it shows in theaters...can't wait! :D

from dream to fic~
yatta!!! after weeks of waiting for inspiration to come to me (through a het dream i had), i had finally written my first ever slash-ryotego fic!!! *throws confetti* i'm soooo happy. just finishing one fic is a big thing for me (since most often than not i don't get any of my stories done). and i'm hoping this keeps up, i mean my drive to write stories, not just yaoi but anything that comes to mind. w/c reminds me, i still have to work on chapter4 of that ryo het fic i started. eeeeeek i'm starting to run out of ideas on that one! *flails*
it had been raining all day. i was supposed to go to the NSO to get a copy of my birth certificate needed for the board exams but again i had stubbornly put it off. i really gotta stop doing that. good thing reviews for today was moved to tomorrow so i felt less guilty for staying home. i am dreading tomorrow -_-
lee hyori's '10 minutes' is stuck in my head ever since i saw snsd performing it...and donghae's *chants dorkdorkdork* gonna be in their new mv 'kissing you.' donghae's ponytail *aaaaaaaaaaaah* can't wait for it to come out. i'm soooo loving these girls :D
now i'm off to sew those pants i cut up last night...and don't forget dinner! LOL

emerged again!
i did it again. i disappeared for a long period of time! and it's not even bcoz i'm not around the pc :P
well, things got a bit crazy over the holidays, starting from the unexpected trip to my hometown (w/c unfortunately i only got to stay for one day). the remaining days were spent with my stepmom's family miles away (and about four hours travel) from bacolod.
so since i felt really rushed i'll just write things (most of them long overdue w/ dates back 3 weeks ago, more or less) down randomly (and in just a few words since i'm still on lazy-mode) - charice on ellen degeneres' show!!! - hankyung's one of the torch-bearers in the beijing olympics - kei's appearance on a dorama (forgot the title, hehe) - i got a SOUE book from palmer as a bday gift! *YAY* - grizzel said tegoshi was 'gwapo' when she saw my phone's wallpaper! finally someone who appreciates :D (since not a lot of my friends even get why i'm so into what i am into) - when i was in picture city waiting for my turn, there were a bunch of korean girls in line too. somewhere in their conversation i was positive i heard someone say super junior! i wonder what was it about suju they were talking about... - sankyoudai wo abake...hilarious~ esp yoko and baru - uchi and notti graduated from trainee status and uchi's working on a new dorama in w/c ryo will appear too (ryouchi comeback?) - omg!!! tegoshi's 'ai nante' solo in the concert!!! just saw a fancam and he's sooooo good!!! tegoshi just doesn't disappoint...but his unzipped pants were LMAO~ (red boxers ftw! and i think i saw purple ones too...oh love~) - i lost my fave mechanical pen over the holidays!!! the one my mom gave me, and i've had it for years T_T serves me right for bringing it along when i'm on vacation...but i just can't live w/o pen and paper!!! - what did i do on the first day of the year 2008? clean my room :D - la marea sessions getting more frequent. i swear it wouldn't be long before i get tired of brownie cups -_- - sooyoung and yuri scenes in 'unstoppable marriage' cute and funny~ - instead of writing a ryotego fic...i ended up w/ a ryo het fic instead!!! - a ryoshige date for real!!! i miss ryoshigepi since all night nippon... - ryo BOAO mag scans *dies dies dies* - NEWS' new single released next month...they sang 'taiyou no namida' in their tokyo dome concert (ost 'kurosagi the movie')...w/c means a new pv on the way!!! - getting addicted to snsd~ - jecebu (a forum exclusively for cebu residents)
dreams, dreams, dreams... - had another hae dream but can't remember what happened, just that hae was there...hmpf~ - out of the blue i had this dream about christopher gorham (that jake 2.0 guy) who was supposedly my bf and donuts??? - another tegoshi dream: he just parked his car coming from a new year's party. i was running to the carpark, my heart racing. somehow i just knew i'd find him there. he was getting out of the car when i got there but he couldn't see me that well bcoz i was standing in front of the headlights w/c were turned on. he squinted, tyring to recognize me. he sang hoshi wo mezashite hoping to get a reaction from me, if i were a fan or something. but i was too starstruck i was practically rooted to the ground and tongue-tied just from the mere sight of him. i still couldn't quite believe that he's really standing there, just a few feet away from me. seeing no reaction from me, tegoshi shrugged and turned to leave. - dreamt i was cast in a horror movie. we were starting to film the first scene. everyone's parts went well w/o needing for retakes. when piolo's (wth?!) turn came, he forgot what he was supposed to do midway and went to take the scene again LOL when it was my turn, they wouldn't let me shoot bcoz apparently i was wearing the wrong wardrobe for the scene. so in the end i was the only one who wasn't able to film my part :(

yeah i have been getting more into them lately. still blaming ryo and tacchon for this -_- i have finally stopped resisting and downloaded more of their songs (my poor ipod!) and watched a bunch of videos on them. i'm surprised that they actually have good songs (after getting past the fact that they're just plain hilarious. they must be the most wacked group in JE). i like it almost as much as NewS' ones, but not quite. NewS will always be my number one japanese fandom :D but now k8 and kat-tun take up the second spot. well, its nice to be open to everything and not restrict yourself. they're all johnnys anyways. 
I LOVE IT!!! tim burton and johnny depp are the best! it was worth every cent. i love the cast--helena bonham carter (as mrs. lovett), alan rickman (as judge turpin), jamie campbell bower (as anthony), etc etc. i didn't expect it to be that dark though. when he killed his first victim, i was a bit surprised and i imagine my face was comical, haha. and everytime he slits a throat, i would almost wince or cover my eyes and mouth. it was BLOODY brilliant, literally. and the ending was a bit disturbing. nowadays, 'johanna' just keeps repeating in my head.
